One may say that Australia is on the other side of the planet. If one was to reside is the UK, they may have a point there, but that is not the case for our latest flagship dealership in Sydney, Australia.

Headed by Paul and Zac Roumanos, this dynamic duo father and son team have elevated the world of Vintage Vespa’s into the 20th century, providing a bespoke style showroom for customers that have the opportunity to individualize their Vespa scooter and enjoy a personal experience to build something special in our purpose-built atelier room, illustrating all the vast choice of options available to make our customer’s Vespa scooters unique.

The lads down under are both avid motorcycle riders and are ambassadors for everything Italian, whether that be Italian sports cars, Italian food, Italian wine and in this case, “The Vespa” or “Wasp” as the Italians call it. 

Pauly (as his friends call him) brings to the table more than 30 years of business skills and experience operating a successful spare parts business that he started back in 1998 with his wife Linda. The business is still going strong, as are Pauly and Linda, that have successfully raised a family, navigated their way through the labyrinth of difficulties and hard times that are associated with being business owners and all that life throws at oneself.

As for Zac, he joined the company when he was 3 years old. Not by choice at the time but has worked in the business from a very young age. Most boys at that age were out playing with friends, but Zac had other ideas, having a desire to work hard and be good at it. Determination as a young lad impregnated in his DNA to make something of himself, with no obstacles in the way of his vision.

Zac brings to the table an incredible knowledge of computers, modern systematic procedures and an education in software design, graphic design and custom software integration to any business in any industry for streamline operations to focus on more control and maximize cost reduction. This knowledge morphed into Zac forming a company (Zarotech Pty Ltd) that solely looks after the needs of other small to medium size businesses that yearn for tailor-made software integration on an affordable scale.

The lads are excited to be the soul dealership in Australia for Vintage Metals. “It is exciting for us to have such a unique product that in the eye of the beholder brings so much joy, through its beauty, its history, its heritage and how it makes people smile when they see a gorgeous vintage scooter brought back to life, telling us stories of the past, whilst at the same time illustrating the individualism that we give the opportunity for our customers to tell their own story”
